The field

5-stand is sporting clays packed into one field. Five shooting stands stand in a row, with six or more machines placed around and in front of them, each marked with a letter.

The menu

Each stand has a menu card listing the five targets you'll shoot there, in order: singles, report pairs and simultaneous pairs, each named by the letters of the machines that throw them. Clubs often grade menus by difficulty, so the same field can be set easy or hard.

Rotation

A squad of up to five takes one stand each. Shooters take turns down the line, one presentation at a time, until everyone has shot their stand's five targets. Then everyone moves one stand to the right, and the shooter on stand 5 goes to stand 1. After five rotations, each shooter has shot 25 targets.

Scoring

Scoring follows sporting clays: one shot per target, a target is dead when a visible piece breaks off, and each broken target is one point. Your score is out of 25.

  1. Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen, then Keep Score.
  2. Choose 5-Stand and add up to five shooters. Tap Check cards to match each stand to the menu in front of its cage, and choose whether the squad shoots a whole stand or pass by pass.
  3. Hold to start, then tap Dead or Lost. Dustd shows each shooter's next target (single or pair) and moves the squad on when every stand is done.
  4. When the round ends, the squad is ranked and the round is saved to the profile of every shooter who is on Dustd.
